Behind the scenes: How we handcraft your gifts

You click "order", and two days later a gift with a name lies in your mailbox. But what actually happens in between? Today we take you behind the scenes of our workshop in Geetbets.
Step 1: Your order comes in
Every morning the list of new orders rolls in. For each item we first check the personalisation: is the name correct, does the text fit nicely on the product, is the chosen font readable on that material? If we're in doubt about anything — a striking spelling, for example — we quickly get in touch before engraving something irreversible.
Step 2: Machines ánd handwork
Our workshop is equipped with 3D printers, laser engravers and a UV printer — the story even began in 2019 with one single 3D printer and a Christmas bauble. But machines don't do everything: every design is prepared manually, every product is checked, sanded or finished where needed after processing. Wood is a natural product; no two boards are identical, and that is exactly what makes every piece unique.
Sustainable where possible
We print with biodegradable PLA, choose FSC-labelled wood and run on power from our own solar panels. How we go about that, you can read in our article about sustainability in our workshop.
Step 3: Packing with a personal touch
Every parcel is packed with eco-friendly material, and with every order we write a card by hand. That takes time, but it's part of who we are: a small workshop making gifts with a human behind them — on both sides of the parcel.
Ordered before 6 pm? Then your parcel joins the courier the very next working day. Curious about the people behind the workshop? You can read more on our who-are-we page.
